A new trailer for “Wonder Park” released this week, previewing the new animated-comedy that is expected to hit theaters early next year. The film tells the story of a magnificent amusement park where the imagination of a wildly creative girl named June comes alive. The film isn’t hitting theaters until March 2019 but you can get an early look at the project thanks to the first official trailer below.

“Wonder Park” features Jennifer Garner, Matthew Broderick, John Oliver, Mila Kunis, Kenan Thompson, Ken Jeong, Norbert Leo Butz, Brianna Denski, and Ken Hudson Campbell. The film is set to release against the thriller “US” from writer/director Jordan Peele, but it shouldn’t hurt the film’s opening weekend, since those two films don’t share the same target demographic.

The official launch date for “Wonder Park” is March 15, 2019. Universal Pictures was going to release “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World” with Jay Baruchel, Cate Blanchett, Kristen Wiig, T.J. Miller, Kit Harington, Jonah Hill, and America Ferrera that month, but that installment got bumped up to February 22nd.

“Wonder Park” is releasing just one-week after Marvel’s “Captain Marvel” film with Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, and Ben Mendelsohn. That could hurt the animated-comedy’s debut in theaters domestically but it also gives the younger crowd an option at the theater if parents decide that “Captain Marvel” is a little too grown up for them.

Other big releases set for March this year include the new “Dumbo” live-action adaptation from Tim Burton, but that film is being released towards the end of the month. The new Dumbo adaptation will feature Colin Farrell, Danny DeVito, and Michael Keaton. The PG-13 crowd will also get the comedy “Where’d You Go, Bernadette” from Richard Linklater, that project stars Cate Blanchett, Kristen Wiig, Judy Greer, Billy Crudup, and Laurence Fishburne.

Paramount Pictures will release “Wonder Park” in theaters on March 15th.
