Happy traveling takes preperation

The holidays are approaching and for millions of Americans that means traveling. While a video or two might cut it for most kids, you can save a lot of data by having a few children’s books on hand that can be read time and time again.

Amazon is currently running a promotion on select children’s books, ranging from regular stories to holiday-themed adventurers, all across a wide-array of age groups. Eager readers can save up to 50% on select titles for a limited time, including some best sellers like “A Plump And Perky Turkey” and “Goodnight, Little Monster”. If you have Kindle Unlimited, the Amazon service that lets you read over 1 million titles and thousands of Audiobooks on any device for just $9.99 a month, most of these books are included and will be free to download. If you haven’t tried the service yet, you can test it out for free for 30 days right here on Amazon. That will get you and  your family through Turkey Day no problem and is a cost-free way to try out the service over the holidays. Even if you don’t have Kindle Unlimited, you can grab new books for a fraction of their regular price. You can preview the current list of books that are on sale for young readers right here on Amazon.

You can also try Audible with your kids. Novels like “Star Wars: Ahsoka” and the newest “Harry Potter” releases are fully produced with sound effects and they offer terrific production values. They are perfect if anyone gets a little motion-sickness while reading in the car or on a plane, and they are a great way to keep tiny eyes away from the screen for a while. Just like with Kindle Unlimited, you can try the Audible Service and preview the titles that are available. Now Audible members get 2 Audible Originals and 1 audiobook every month as part as their subscription.
