Sony Pictures released an official trailer for “The Possession of Hannah Grace” this morning. The project is a thriller set to hit theaters this fall staring Shay Mitchell, Grey Damon, Kirby Johnson, and Stana Katic.
In the film an exorcism spirals out of control, claiming the life of a young woman. Months later, Megan Reed (Shay Mitchell) is working the graveyard shift in the morgue when she takes delivery of a disfigured cadaver. Locked alone inside the basement corridors, Megan begins to experience horrifying visions and starts to suspect that the body may be possessed by a ruthless demonic force. Fans of the genre can watch the official trailer below, thanks to an early morning upload from Sony Pictures to YouTube. Television viewers should remember Shay Mitchell best from her popular role of Emily Fields in Freeform’s YA drama “Pretty Little Liars”. Since the end of that series Mitchell has been touring the world on Instagram, building up her personal brand and expanding her television roles in shows like “You” as Peach Salinger and “The Heiresses”.
As for “The Possession of Hannah Grace,” the film is getting a November 30th release date, so mark you calendars if you are a big Shay Mitchell fan. The film will have a lot of competition that month and on the same opening weekend. November 30th is the same day that the musical-thriller “Anna and the Apocalypse” is hitting theaters, as well as “Head Full of Honey,” “If Beale Street Could Talk,” and “Sicilian Ghost Story”. Other big films releasing that month are Disney’s “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms,” “Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch,” “The Girl in the Spider’s Web,” “Overlord,” “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald,” “Instant Family,” and “Widows”. The weekend before “The Possession of Hannah Grace” hits theaters, moviegoers can choose between “Creed 2,” “Green Book,” “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” and “Robin Hood”
