‘Star Trek: Discovery’ Season 2 Trailer Offers a Look at Spock

Star Trek fans finally got a look at “Star Trek: Discovery” Season 2 this weekend, thanks to a new trailer that was screened at New York Comic-Con. If you want to set a reminder to watch the new episodes, “Star Trek: Discovery” is scheduled to return to CBS All Access on January 17th, giving newcomers plenty of time to watch season 1 and catch up. If you are caught up, just a few more months to go before the new episodes are available.
As we mentioned earlier, the show held a panel at NYCC over the weekend, which was moderated by Rebecca Romijn (Number One). The panel featured a conversation with cast members including Sonequa Martin-Green (Commander Michael Burnham), Doug Jones (Commander Saru), Shazad Latif (Ash Tyler), Mary Wiseman (Ensign Sylvia Tilly), Anthony Rapp (Lt. Commander Paul Stamets), Michelle Yeoh (Philippa Georgiou), Wilson Cruz (Dr. Hugh Culber), Mary Chieffo (L’Rell), Anson Mount (Captain Christopher Pike) and Ethan Peck (Spock).
The group was joined by executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Heather Kadin.
The big season 2 trailer offers a first look at Spock in the new series, played by Ethan Peck; Number One, played by Rebecca Romijn; and Section 31’s newest recruit, Philippa Georgiou, played by Michelle Yeoh. Fans can watch the big trailer below.
If you haven’t jumped into the series yet, “Star Trek: Discovery” follows the voyages of Starfleet on their missions to discover new worlds and new life forms. The show features a new ship and new characters while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers.
The first season is now available on CBS All Access, CBS Network’s digital subscription video on demand and live streaming service, and is distributed concurrently by CBS Studios International on Netflix in 188 countries and in Canada on Bell Media’s Space channel and OTT service CraveTV.
