Today was the big “She-Ra” panel at New York Comic-Con. During the event DreamWorksTV released an official trailer for the new animated-series, introducing a new generation of viewers to the might of She-Ra. The panel was hosted today at the Hammerstein Ballroom at the Manhattan Center, with executive producer Noelle Stevenson (Nimona, Lumberjanes), Aimee Carrero (voice of Adora/She-Ra), and Karen Fukuhara (voice of Glimmer).

After watching hours of dark and dreary trailers from Marvel Studios and DC Entertainment, the “She-Ra” trailer was a welcomed change.

Inspired by the popular 1980s series, DreamWorks “She-Ra and the Princesses of Power” tells the epic story of an orphan named Adora, who leaves behind her former life in the evil Horde when she discovers a magic sword that transforms her into the mythical warrior princess She-Ra. The original series, called “She-Ra: Princess of Power,” ran from 1985 through 1987. The story followed Princess Adora who would use her magic sword and becomes She-Ra, the most powerful woman in the universe. She-Raw would aid her friends in defeating the Evil Horde to protect Etheria.

On Youtube DreamWorksTV added with the video, “Adora’s destiny turns out to be far greater than she could have ever imagined. As the legendary warrior princess, She-Ra, it’s up to her and a spirited group of rebel princesses to restore balance in Etheria by defending it from the place she once called home. Join The Rebellion November 16th when She-Ra and the Princesses of Power begins streaming on Netflix!”
