Kaley Cuoco Joins ‘Harley Quinn’ Animated Series
Harley Quinn is looking pretty fantastic
DC offered a first-look trailer for the upcoming “Harley Quinn” animated series, which will star Kaley Cuoco in the titular role. The series will be part of the new DC subscription service and DC Entertainment released a surprise teaser trailer for the animated-series ahead of New York Comic-Con.
Launched on Batman Day 2018, the big draw for the DC Subscription service has been the live-action “Titans” series. That’s not the only major release the studio has planned, there is also “Young Justice: Season 3” and the big “Doom Patrol” series. On the roster is also a special series for Swamp Thing, Star Girl, and the animated Harley Quinn shown below.
We will have to wait for the official NYCC panel to get all the details for the show but the trailer did come with a lot of confirmations. We mentioned earlier that Kaley Cuoco will voice Harley Quinn, but the series will also feature Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, JB Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Diedrich Bader, Tony Hale, and Chris Meloni. Fans of the DC character can watch the official first-look trailer below.
On YouTube Warner Bros. Animation added, “THE BIG BANG THEORY’s Kaley Cuoco stars as the voice of Gotham’s criminal queenpin Harley Quinn in the new animated series for the DC UNIVERSE digital subscription service. Warner Bros. Animation unveiled a first look at the upcoming series on Wednesday, October 3, at New York Comic Con.”
Hopefully we will get more information on Titans and even more information on Harley Quinn when the panels hit NYCC this weekend. As for now, DC fans have a lot of entertainment to look forward to over the next few months and the subscription service seems to come well stacked with exclusives and interesting series.
