Twentieth Century Fox has set a Digital release date for the feel-good comedy “Dog Days” with Vanessa Hudgens and Eva Longoria. The film will first release on Digital HD on November 6th, followed by a DVD release on November 20th. Sometimes you need a movie that can turn a terrible day into a great one and this movie has adorable pets to help you out.

You can find the Digital HD version of the film on iTunes, Amazon Video, and Google Play. If you rather have the retail version, you can find it right here on Amazon.

The film was directed by Ken Marino and the story picks up when a barista (Vanessa Hudgens) finds a stray Chihuahua. She wuickly learns that a love struck customer (Jon Bass) heads a rescue agency. Meanwhile, a widower’s pug changes life for its adoptive parents, pups help a newscaster cope with her co-host, and a slacker musician reluctantly pet-sits his sister’s scruffy Labradoodle.

“Dog Days” had a lot of competition at the box office and opened across 2,442 locations back in August. At a time when “The Meg,” “Disney’s Christopher Robin,” and “Mission Impossible Fallout” were ruling the box office, “Dog Days” made $2.5M on its opening weekend before making almost $7M domestically. The film features Nina Dobrev, Vanessa Hudgens, Adam Pally, Eva Longoria, Rob Corddry, Toone Bell, Jon Bass, Michael Cassidy, Thomas Lennon, Tig Notaro, Finn Wolfhard, and Ron Cephas Jones.

Vanessa Hudgens recently wrapped filming “Second Act,” an upcoming romantic-comedy starring Milo Ventimiglia, Hudgens, and Jennifer Lopez. That project was directed by Peter Segal, working from a script written by Justin Zackham and Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas. “Second Act” is scheduled to hit theaters on December 14, 2018 against “Mortal Engines,” “The Mule,” and the animated-comedy “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse”.
