Square Enix announced that “Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition” is now available for the Xbox One and PS4, and the publisher confirmed that a version of the game will also launch on the Nintendo Switch. The game first released on iOS, Android and Windows 10 devices, and is a retelling of the popular RPG “Final Fantasy XV”. The game is an adorable version of the original title, with a clever art-design and an improved UI to accommodate the controls.

The original version surpassed 8.1 million shipments and digital sales worldwide to date, and the Pocket Edition was recently tailored for consoles to attract new players. To commemorate the release, those who purchase any of the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 versions from today through September 13th will also receive a discount of up to 40%, with the same limited-time offer available for the Nintendo Switch version at launch.

If you are new to “Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition,” the game welcomes fans and newcomers alike. With the Pocket Edition players can follow the journey of crown prince Noctis and his brothers in arms, Prompto, Ignis and Gladiolus, and enjoy fully voiced key event scenes and faithfully recreated battles. All of the treasured moments from the original game, like driving the Regalia across giganctic landscapes, camping, Chocobo riding and more, can be experienced in a whole new way with the game’s creatively reimagined art style and in HD resolution.
