Netflix released a trailer for “BoJack Horseman” Season 5 this morning, promising a “sensational season of television” on social-media. The new episodes will become available on September 14th on Netflix, just in time for the back to school crowd to binge through the first season.
If you’re new to the show, then we suggest starting at Season 1 and not the Season 5 trailer, but fans of the series can watch the new video below. Will Arnett voices BoJack in the series, a failed legendary 90’s sitcom star from the favorite family-sitcom called “Horsin’ Around”. Since his fall from the limelight, BoJack has been trying to find his way through a muddle of self-loathing, whisky and failed relationships. Now, in the presence of his human sidekick Todd (Aaron Paul) and his feline agent and ex-paramour Princess Carolyn (Amy Sedaris), BoJack is primed for his comeback, or second comeback, or third comeback. We lost count at this point.
While it wasn’t his first animated-character, Will Arnett became a go-to voice-over artist in the DC Universe since the debut of his Batman character in “The LEGO Movie”. Arnett voiced the character again in “The LEGO Batman Movie” and followed that up by voicing the character Slade in “Teen Titans Go! To the Movies”. Arnett will once again voice Batman in the follow-up film “The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part” set to release in theaters in 2019. That project was directed by Mike Mitchell and Trisha Gum, and also features Margot Robbie, Alison Brie, Chris Pratt, Stephanie Beatriz, Elizabeth Banks, Charlie Day, Jonah Hill, and Channing Tatum.
Fans of BoJack can set a reminder to watch the new episodes in just a few days on September 14, 2018.
