Netflix has added another name to the cast list for the upcoming social-thriller “What/IF”, from writer Mike Kelley. The new addition is Blake Jenner (Glee, The Edge of Seventeen, Everybody Wants Some) who will play the character Sean in the series.

Jenner will join an already impressive cast, which includes Renée Zellweger and Jane Levy. If you haven’t heard of the upcoming show yet, “What/If” explores the ripple effects of what happens when acceptable people start doing unacceptable things. According to Netflix, each season will tackle a different morality tale inspired by culturally consequential source material, and the power of a single fateful decision to change the trajectory of an entire life.

Since the end of FOX’s “Glee” in 2015, Blake Jenner has appeared in a number of projects. Jenner took on the role of Adam Foster in The CW’s “Supergirl” series for a few episodes and has appeared in a number of films. One of Jenner’s biggest projects was “The Edge of Seventeen” from Writer and Director Kelly Fremon Craig. The film also stared Hailee Steinfeld and Haley Lu Richardson and was a breakout moment for Steinfeld. Jenner also appears in the film “American Animals,” from Writer and Director Bart Layton, which also features Evan Peters, Ann Dowd, and Barry Keoghan .

We don’t have a premiere date yet for “What/IF,” Netflix has been busy filling in the cast-sheet over the last few weeks with announcements coming out almost every 2-4 weeks. Jane Levy and Jenner have been the latest casting announcements but more are expected over the next few weeks before production begins.

Mike Kelley (Revenge, Swingtown) will serve as Writer, Executive Producer and Showrunner on the series, with Melissa Loy (Page Fright); Alex Gartner, Charles Roven (Atlas Entertainment); Robert Zemeckis, and Jack Rapke (Compari Entertainment) also serving as Executive Producers. Co-Executive Producer is Jackie Levine (Compari Entertainment).
