FOX is giving fans one last trailer before the new “Predator” reboot hits theaters. The film is only a few weeks away at this point and fans of the original films can watch their favorite alien hunter in the all-new video below.

The studio teased the film adding, “From the outer reaches of space to the backwoods of southern Georgia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series.” The studio continues, “Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before. And only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and an evolutionary biology professor can prevent the end of the human race.”

The original “Predator” opened back in 1987 and starred Arnold Schwarzenegger. At the height of Schwarzenegger’s box-office draw, the film went on to make $59M in 1987 before grossing over $98M worldwide. The follow-up with Danny Glover only made $57M worldwide and released in 1990. One of the most successful installments to the franchise was “Alien Vs. Predator,” which made over $172M worldwide in 2004. That film featured Ewen Bremner, Sanaa Lathan, and Lance Henriksen. The franchise was put on hold after “Predators” released in 2010, though it did make over $127M worldwide. That film featured Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Danny Trejo, Laurence Fishburne, and Alice Braga.

The new Predator installment was directed by Shane Black, the film features Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, and Olivia Munn. The film will have a lot competition at the box office, which isn’t unusual for a mid September launch. “Predator” is launching against “A Simple Favor” with Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively;” Universal’s “Unbroken: Path to Redemption;” and the drama “White Boy Rick” with Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Bel Powley, Rory Cochrane, and Bruce Dern.

FOX is set to release “Predator” in theaters on September 14, 2018. You can find tickets and showtimes here on
