The new season of “Marvel’s Iron Fist” is only a few weeks away and Netflix has released another trailer for the sophomore season. In the new video the superhero lifestyle is starting to negatively impact Danny Rand’s (Finn Jones) life and things aren’t going well between Danny and Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick). Not only does Danny have the crushing responsibility of being Iron Fist, Davos (Sacha Dhawan) is back and is not happy with how Danny is choosing to wield his immense power.
Iron Fist fans should be happy to see Danny coming into his own and starting to look a little more like the popular Iron Fist character from the comics. Much like Davos says in the trailer, “It’s not a weapon to be held. It’s a weapon to be used,” and we are excited to see Danny start thrashing about his incredible powers on the villains of New York City in the new season. Fans of Iron Fist can watch the latest trailer for Season 2 in the video below and don’t forget to set a reminder for the new season when it returns to Netflix later this fall.
Of course there’s plenty of Marvel projects in the works at Netflix, Iron Fist isn’t the only hero we are tracking on the video-streaming platform. We are still waiting on the premiere date for “Daredevil: Season 3” but we might get more information on that series once “Iron Fist” has launched. One of Marvel’s most popular Netflix series is “Jessica Jones,” a series that is currently filming for its third-season. That show will most likely return to Netflix around November 2019. Fans will have to be patient for those exact premiere dates but we do have “Iron Fist” and “The Punisher” to hold us over for a little while.
If you want to set a reminder, “Marvel’s Iron Fist: Season 2” is set to premier on September 7, 2018.
