‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Gameplay Trailer is now Live
Just a tease of what's to come
After teasing the trailer on social-media yesterday, RockStar Games has published a new trailer for “Red Dead Redemption 2,” which is coming to PS4 and Xbox One later this fall. Unlike previous trailers, this video focuses on actual gameplay and western fans can finally see the game in action.
If you need to get caught up on the story, “Red Dead Redemption 2” will follow Arthur Morgan, as well as the Van der Linde gang. Just like the trailers that have already been released, this video offers just a tease of Morgan’s backstory and the characters that make up the world. “Red Dead Redemption 2” is a prequel to the original hit “Red Dead Redemption” that was released back in 2010. The game was originally slated to release in the fall of last year, but complications in the development process forced the publisher to delay the game until October 2018. There’s still no indication that the game will be hitting PC anytime soon, so if you want to join Arthur Morgan on his quest you will have to get a PS4 or an Xbox One.
Fans of the “Red Dead Redemption” series can watch the trailer below, and practice their horse-wrangling abilities on the original until this fall. According to Rockstar Games, all of the gameplay shown was captured entirely from in-game footage. Fans can watch the introduction to Red Dead Redemption 2’s gameplay in 4K with the video below (assuming you have a 4K screen to watch it on of course).
“Red Dead Redemption 2” is set to release on October 26th for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and you can pre-order the game on retail sites like here on Amazon.com for extra goodies.
