The MTV VMAs are just a few weeks away and the network has started confirming the live acts that will be taking the stage for the big night. MTV confirmed this week that Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes and Logic with Ryan Tedder will perform at the 2018 “VMAs,” so fans will want to set a reminder to watch them perform. It’s no surprise that Ariana Grande is hitting the stage, the hit-maker has become a staple on the VMA stage over the past few years and she has a new album on the way. Grande has a lot to promote this year and she has to get these performances out of her system before her big wedding and probable honeymoon.

If you’re a fan of Grande, the popular singer will perform her latest hit single “God is a Woman” from her forthcoming album “Sweetener,” while Mendes will deliver his chart-topping song “In My Blood”. Logic will take the stage to perform his new single, “One Day,” featuring Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, for the first time ever.

As we previously reported, Jennifer Lopez will be honored with the “Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award” this year. Lopez is also set to perform at this year’s show for the first time since 2001. The “VMAs” will air live from Radio City Music Hall on Monday, August 20 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT across MTV’s global network of channels in more than 180 countries and territories, reaching more than half a billion households around the world.

MTV announced the full-list of “VMAs” nominations earlier this summer, with Cardi B taking the lead in nominations. Additional performers will be announced at a later date. If you missed the nominations list, you can find that here.

Bruce Gillmer and Jesse Ignjatovic are Executive Producers for the 2018 “VMAs.” Melanie Block serves as Executive in Charge of Production. Amani Duncan is Executive in Charge of Music and Wendy Plaut is Executive in Charge of Celebrity Talent.
