‘Smallfoot’ Gets one last Trailer before its Debut
Warner Bros. offers another look at Smallfoot
Warner Bros. Pictures has released a final trailer for “Smallfoot” just before the animated-comedy hits theaters nationwide. The film will hit theaters in September, one-week after Universal’s fantasy-drama “The House With A Clock In Its Walls”. Yeti fans big and small can watch the new trailer below, showing off the cast and art-style of the upcoming family-comedy.
“Smallfoot” centers on the discovery of something truly mythical in the land of the Yetis, a human. News of this “smallfoot” throws the simple yeti community into an uproar over what else might be out there in the big world beyond their snowy village, in an all new story about friendship, courage and the joy of discovery. The film stars Channing Tatum (“The LEGO Batman Movie,” the “Jump Street” films) as the yeti, Migo, and James Corden (“Trolls,” “The Emoji Movie”) as the Smallfoot, Percy. The film also features Zendaya (“Spider-Man: Homecoming”), Common (“Selma”), LeBron James (upcoming “Space Jam 2”), Gina Rodriguez (“Jane the Virgin”), Danny DeVito (“The Lorax,” Oscar nominee for “Erin Brockovich”), Yara Shahidi (TV’s “Black-ish”), Ely Henry (TV’s “Justice League Action”), and Jimmy Tatro (“22 Jump Street”).
“Smallfoot” was directed by Karey Kirkpatrick, Annie Award-winning director of “Over the Hedge” and Annie nominee for the screenplays for “Chicken Run” and “James and the Giant Peach.” The screenplay is by Kirkpatrick and Clare Sera, screen story by John Requa & Glenn Ficarra and Kirkpatrick. The film itself is based on the book Yeti Tracks, by Sergio Pablos.
“Smallfoot” is produced by Bonne Radford (“Curious George”), Glenn Ficarra (“Storks,” “This is Us,”) and John Requa (“Storks,” “This is Us”). Serving as executive producers are Nicholas Stoller, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, Jared Stern, Karey Kirkpatrick, Sergio Pablos, Courtenay Valenti, and Allison Abbate. Animated fans can watch the final trailer below.
The new “Smallfoot” trailer releases just as “Disney’s Christopher Robin” hits theaters, the new Disney release will be hoping to topple “Mission Impossible: Fallout” in theaters nationwide this weekend. Tickets for “Christopher Robin” are already available on sites like Fandango, and the film stars Ewan McGregor, Hayley Atwell, and Bronte Carmichael.
“Smallfoot” is set to debut in theaters September 28, 2018.
