Season 2 of “Iron Fist” is just around the corner and Netflix released a new trailer to get fans excited for the show’s return. The new video features the beginning of Iron Fist’s iconic look, though it still needs some custom tailoring.
Netflix announced the premiere date for the new season at San Diego Comic-Con last weekend, giving the show a September premiere date to compete with the new fall lineups. The video also teases some of Danny Rand’s past, which has been sprinkled throughout the first season already. Daredevil got a significant costume upgrade for his second season at Netflix and it seems that Iron Fist will be following suit (pun intended).
Finn Jones will be returning in the second season and the trailer opens with his character Danny Rand walking through New York City with Colleen Wing (played by Jessica Henwick). The video features a bit of action and a bit of flashbacks, something that has become a staple within the series. Fans of the franchise can watch the new trailer below, and might want to set a reminder to watch the new episodes when they are available this fall.
We are still waiting on the premiere date for “Daredevil: Season 3” but we might get more information on that series once “Iron Fist” has launched. One of Marvel’s most popular Netflix series is “Jessica Jones,” a series that is currently filming for its third-season. That show will most likely return to Netflix around November 2019. Fans will have to be patient for those exact premiere dates but we do have “Iron Fist” and “The Punisher” to hold us over for a little while.
Season 2 of “Marvel’s Iron Fist” debuts exclusively on Netflix September 7, 2018.
