Star Wars fans will be able to stream “Solo: A Star Wars Story” this fall, the studio is releasing the Digital HD version of the film on September 14th, and the Blu-ray, 4K, and DVD versions will launch on September 25th. Judging by the box-office numbers, it seems like a lot of people were waiting for this Star Wars installment to go digital, so we expect Solo to crush the home box-office sales later this fall.

You can find the Digital Version of the film on iTunes, Amazon Prime Video, and Google Play.

“Solo: A Star Wars Story” was directed by Academy Award–winning filmmaker Ron Howard, and fans took to the universe with scoundrel Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich). The film explores Han’s first encounters with future friend and copilot Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo) and notorious gambler Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover), as well as his adventure-filled past alongside fellow street thief Qi’ra (Emilia Clarke) and career criminal Beckett (Woody Harrelson).

“Solo” was a rare miss for Disney at the box-office. The film brought in $212M domestically and just $173M worldwide.

“Solo: A Star Wars Story” bonus content takes fans behind the scenes to experience compelling discussions with the star-studded cast and screenwriters Jonathan Kasdan & Lawrence Kasdan (writer of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi); a revealing feature on Chewie and his enduring friendship with Han; a close-up look at the original version of the Millennium Falcon and Han’s first time piloting the infamous ship; the creation of the film’s otherworldly settings and pulse-pounding action sequences; and eight never-before-seen deleted and extended scenes.

The next installment currently scheduled for Star Wars fans is “Star Wars: Episode IX,” which will serve as the conclusion of the new ‘Star Wars’ trilogy. J.J. Abrams is coming back to write and direct the new installment, which will bring back favorites like Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, John Boyega and more.
