Try and test before the rest
It’s an exciting week for fans of ” Call of Duty: Black Ops 4,” Activision and Treyarch have announced the details and dates for the games’ Multiplayer and Blackout Betas. The upcoming title will offer extended access with two distinct Betas for players this year, the Multiplayer Beta kicks off on August 3rd on the PlayStation 4, followed shortly by the Xbox One and PC. Then in September, a brand new, uniquely Black Ops, battle royale experience will come to life in a first-ever hands-on with the games’ new mode, Blackout.
The Official Multiplayer Beta schedule will be PlayStation 4 (August 3 at 10am/PT – August 6 at 10am/PT), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (August 10 at 10am/PT – August 13 at 10am/PT), PC Beta Early Access (August 10 at 10am/PT exclusively on Battle.Net) then a PC Open Beta (August 11 at 10am/PT – August 13 at 10am/PT)
The new title will be published by Activision and was developed by Treyarch with additional development support from Raven Software and PC development with Beenox. The title is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 12th. If you were not one of the 10M views on the Call of Duty Black Ops 4: Multiplayer reveal trailer earlier this year, you can watch that feature below.
If you’re a fan of the franchise, you can pre-order now and get access to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Private Beta, you can get access with the Standard Version through authorized retailers like Amazon.com.
If you’re playing on PC this year, the developers have stated that Black Ops 4 for the PC will deliver “a fully-optimized experience,” and it should be a welcomed fact that the game will run through Battle.net, Blizzard Entertainment’s online gaming service. That service has already proven to be a reliable platform with “Overwatch” and “Destiny 2,” and hopefully will remain online and stable when Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launches later this year.
