Conan Lands ‘Aquaman,’ ‘Glass’ and ‘Predator’ for SDCC Week
Super Conan hits SDCC
For the past few years, Conan O’Brien has become the Late Night conquer of San Diego Comic-Con. The popular host hits the convention to interview stars, preview games, release trailers, and meet with fun and dedicated fans. This year Conan has quite a line-up prepared, bringing hits like “Aquaman” front and center for fans to preview the next installment.
This will be Conan’s fourth professional visit to SDCC, and he has a week of previews and reveals ready for fans of all genres. The stars of the Emmy-winning hit “Breaking Bad” are reuniting for the 10 year anniversary of the show, and Conon will give the first details on the the stars of M. Night Shyamalan’s “Glass”. Other previews include the new “Predator” reboot. SDCC starts on July 18th and runs through July 21st. The Conan episodes will air that Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday on TBS.
Getting down to brass tacks, the Cast of Breaking Bad will include Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Anna Gunn, Dean Norris, Betsy Brandt, RJ Mitte, Giancarlo Esposito, Bob Odenkirk and show creator Vince Gilligan. The “Predator” cast includes Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Thomas Jane, Trevante Rhodes, Alfie Allen, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey, Yvonne Strahovski and director Shane Black. Obviously “Glass” is going to be one of the biggest draws, and Conan has Samuel L. Jackson, James McAvoy, Bruce Willis, Sarah Paulson, Anya Taylor-Joy and writer/director M. Night Shyamalan on hand to discuss the film.
Unfortunately TNT did not confirm the cast of “Aquaman,” but we imagine that Jason Momoa will at least be there. Other possibilities include Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Dolph Lundgren, Willem Dafoe, and Patrick Wilson.
This could be DC’s year to shine at SDCC, since Marvel doesn’t have a film to promote and Star Wars is taking some time off. “Aquaman” and “Wonder Woman: 1984” are the next big installments on the DC calendar, and hopefully we will get a few teasers from both of those projects.
