After a fifteen-year hiatus, “The Incredibles” are back at the box-office and ready for another adventure. The Disney-Pixar project leaped to the top of the box-office charts this weekend, pushing a few of Disney’s other titles a little further down the list. The Incredible family had an easy win this weekend but will have to battle Chris Pratt and his prehistoric Dinos in the weeks to come.

“Incredibles 2” had an amazing $180M opening weekend across 4,410 locations this week. To give you some perspective, the original film released back in 2004 with a $70M opening weekend. The first installment made $261M domestically and over $633M worldwide. “Incredibles 2” was written and directed by Brad Bird, the film features the voice-talents of Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, and Sarah Vowell.

Disney’s new animated-adventure pushed Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Ocean’s 8” down to second-place this weekend. The crime-thriller still brought in over $19M across 4,145 locations this weekend, raising the film’s two-week total to over $79M domestically. “Ocean’s 8” was directed by Gary Ross, the film features Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Rihanna, and Helena Bonham Carter.

Warner Bros. Pictures also took third-place on the domestic-charts with the new comedy “Tag”. The comedy had a $14.6M opening weekend across 3,382 locations. “TAG” was directed by Jeff Tomsic, the film stars Jeremy Renner, Ed Helms, Jake Johnson, Jon Hamm, and Isla Fisher.

Fourth-place went back to Disney, “Solo: A Star Wars Story” had a $9M weekend across 3,182 locations. This weekend’s total was enough to raise the film’s four-week total to just under $192M domestically. “Solo: A Star Wars Story” was directed by Ron Howard, the film features Emilia Clarke, Alden Ehrenreich, Thandie Newton, Woodey Harrelson, and Donald Glover.

FOX’s “Deadpool 2” dropped to fifth-place overall this week, bringing in $8.8M across 3,212 locations. The superhero sequel has now made over $294M domestically in theaters in just in five-weeks. “Deadpool 2” was directed by David Leitch, the film stars Josh Brolin, Ryan Reynolds, Zazie Beetz, and Morena Baccarin.
