New ‘Wreck-It Ralph 2’ Trailer is Filled With Disney Princesses
Ralph meets some Disney royals
Disney released a new trailer for “Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2” this morning, and this one is filled with characters from other Disney projects. The film itself won’t be ready for theaters until November but fans of the franchise can check-in with Ralph and his friends with the new trailer.
If you want to set a reminder, “Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2” is scheduled to release on November 21, 2018, the week after “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” releases nationwide.
In “Wreck-It Ralph 2,” the movie is venturing beyond Litwak’s arcade. The characters will be moving into the internet, and we don’t know for sure how bad Ralph will wreck-it. In the story, Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) must risk it all by traveling to the world wide web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game, Sugar Rush.
Disney teased the story adding, “In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet—the netizens—to help navigate their way, including a webite entrepreneur named Yesss (voice of Taraji P. Henson), who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site BuzzzTube.”
The original “Wreck-It Ralph” had a $49M opening weekend back in 2012, the film went on to make over $189M domestically and $471M worldwide.
The new installment was directed by Rich Moore (“Zootopia,” “Wreck-It Ralph”) and Phil Johnston (co-writer “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Cedar Rapids,” co-writer “Zootopia,”), and produced by Clark Spencer (“Zootopia,” “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Bolt”).
“Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-Ralph 2” hits theaters on November 21, 2018.
