Overwatch' 2018 Anniversary Eventblizzard

Players from all around the world can now celebrate the “Overwatch” two-year anniversary. Blizzard Entertainment has filled the game’s loot boxes with more collectables and unlocks than ever, and everyone can jump in and start playing.

If you’re excited about the unlocks, you will find more than 50 new cosmetic items up for grabs. In the collection are eight new legendary skins (which include Stealth Bastion, Shieldmaiden Brigitte, Formal Doomfist, Buccaneer Junkrat, Sherlock McCree, Forest Spirit Orisa, Magician Symmetra, and Cybjörn Torbjörn). It’s important to note that you can also find unlocks from previous events, so if you recently got the game or missed out on any skins that you wish you hadn’t, you can get those through loot boxes and credits as well.

Skins aside, there also a brand new map to play. Players can jump into the Petra map and the Château Guillard. You can play all the Deathmatch Mode you can handle as you rack-up XP for more loot boxes and stars on your profile. Don’t forget, everyone gets one free loot box for logging in, and it will have at least one legendary inside.

Players can also find a ton of action over in the Arcade Mode. Classic games and challenges await anyone that wants to play. As Blizzard stated earlier today, “Many of our past seasonal brawls will be available to play in the Arcade, and the brawl of the day will rotate throughout the event.” So get those snowballs ready, it’s time to hit the battlefield. If you missed out on the launch trailer that Blizzard put together for the event you can watch that video below. During the video keep an eye out for the new maps, and a quick montage of all the skins you can collect for the next two-weeks.

The big event is going on now through June 11th.
