Kimmy Schmidt starts the ending

Kimmy Schmidt returns to Netflix with all-new episodes later this month but unfortunately for fans, this will be the end of the unbreakable supergirl. Netflix doesn’t have any plans set for “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Season 5,” and fans should use this season to say goodbye to their favorite bunker-girl and her friends.

The previous season ended when Kimmy got her new job at a tech startup, and things look like they are picking up right from there in the new season. The new episodes looks like they will fully integrate Kimmy into the actual working world, where she has to battle office politics and harassment lawsuits. Netflix is bringing back the show by the end of the month, but fans can get an early look at the storylines thanks to the trailer Netflix released earlier today.

If you need to set a reminder, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” Season 4 is set to launch on Netflix on May 30th.

Netflix also announced that the video-streaming service has signed a new deal with Ricky Gervais, which will bring his series “After Life” to the platform later this year. In the series, Tony (Ricky Gervais) had a perfect life and all was well in the world. Everything was going great until Tony’s wife Lisa suddenly died, causing Tony to change. After contemplating taking his own life, he decides instead to live long enough to punish the world by saying and doing whatever he likes from then on. Netflix describes the show adding, “He thinks it’s like a Super Power — not caring about himself or anyone else — but it turns out to be tricky when everyone is trying to save the nice guy they used to know”.

Ricky Gervais serves as Creator, Executive Producer, Director, and Star of the series, which was Executive Produced by Charlie Hanson.
