Netflix released a Season 2 trailer for “Marvel’s Luke Cage: Season 2,” fans of the series can get a preview of the upcoming storylines before the show launches on Netflix later this summer.

If you need to set a reminder to catch the second season of the hit Marvel series, season two is scheduled to debut Netflix on June 22nd. The story will follow the ongoing adventures and trials of the bulletproof man himself. Netflix released the trailer earlier today on YouTube to get fans excited for the new season, with the video description, “After clearing his name, Luke Cage has become a celebrity on the streets of Harlem with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin. But being so visible has only increased his need to protect the community and find the limits of who he can and can’t save. With the rise of a formidable new foe, Luke is forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain.”

If you enjoyed other Marvel hits on Netflix, “Luke Cage” is one of the better options. In the first season you pick-up with Cage after a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin. Luke Cage (Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. Netflix teased the first season stating, “But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city – forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.”

Luke Cage fans can see the powered-hero take to the streets once again in the season two trailer below.

The previous Marvel series to hit the video-streaming platform was “Jessica Jones: Season 2,” which debuted back in March. If you are a Jessica Jones fan, then you should be happy to know that Netflix has already ordered a third-season of the show. Marvel’s Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, and also features Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth and Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse. The series is executive produced by showrunner Melissa Rosenberg along with Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory. If you need even more Krysten Ritter life, you can grab her novel “Bonfire: A Novel,” which released back in November 2017. The book-cover has been a popular item on celebrity Instagram and Twitter feeds, and you can find it on sites like Amazon.com (starting at $13).
