The new ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Trailer is out
Hit the trail with Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2
As promised, RockStar Games has released the highly-anticipated new trailer for “Red Dead Redemption 2,” coming to PS4 and Xbox One later this year. This isn’t the first trailer that has been released for the game, in fact it’s the third, but it does offer the best insight into the graphics and gameplay that players will experience when the game hits consoles later this fall. Just like “Red Dead Redemption,” the game will offer a gritty western-theme storyline, with unique game-mechanics and a lot of violence.
As for the story, “Red Dead Redemption 2” will follow Arthur Morgan, as well as the Van der Linde gang. Just like the trailers that have already been released, this video offers just a tease of Morgan’s backstory. “Red Dead Redemption 2” looks to be a prequel to the original hit “Red Dead Redemption” released back in 2010. The game was originally slated to release in the fall of last year, but complications in the development process forced the publisher to delay the game until October 2018.
There’s still no indication that the game will be hitting PC anytime soon, so if you want to join Arthur Morgan on his quest you will have to get a PS4 or an Xbox One. It’s not the first time that PC players will have to optimistically wait for an exciting new title, many of us are still waiting for “Monster Hunter: World” to finally release on Steam. Fans of the “Red Dead Redemption” series can watch the trailer below, and practice their horse-wrangling abilities on the original until this fall.
Rockstar teases the game adding, “After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him.”
“Red Dead Redemption 2” is set to release on October 26th for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and you can pre-order the game on retail sites like Amazon.com.
