Disney released the first official trailer for “Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2” this morning, offering a first-look at the upcoming animated-comedy set to release this Thanksgiving.

According to the studio, “Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2” leaves Litwak’s video arcade behind, venturing into the uncharted, expansive and thrilling world of the internet. In the story, video game bad guy Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) must risk it all by traveling to the world wide web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game, Sugar Rush.

In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet—the netizens—to help navigate their way, including a webite entrepreneur named Yesss (voice of Taraji P. Henson), who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site “BuzzzTube.” Directed by Rich Moore (“Zootopia,” “Wreck-It Ralph”) and Phil Johnston (co-writer “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Cedar Rapids,” co-writer “Zootopia,”), and produced by Clark Spencer (“Zootopia,” “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Bolt”),

Previously, Disney released a few teaser-trailers and clips to promote the sequel, this is the first official trailer. The original film released back in 2012, opening at number-one with a $49M weekend. The film then went on to make over $189M domestically, and over $471M worldwide. This new installment was directed by Rich Moore and Phil Johnston, who also directed the first film with Jennifer Lee.

“Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2” hits theaters on Nov. 21, 2018. Also opening that weekend is the sequel “Creed 2” with Michael B. Jordan, and the Jamie Dornan drama “Robin Hood”. As of right now, studios have decided not to challenge “Wreck-It Ralph 2” on opening weekend, but it will be interesting to see if that changes over the next few weeks.
