Freeform is celebrating the ratings for “Beyond,” a series currently in its second season on the network. According to Freeform, “Beyond” hit new season highs over its 6th telecast, which was also the day after Valentine’s Day. The series reached its best numbers in more than 1 year, soaring over the prior week by 96% among Adults 18-34, 135% with Women 18-34, 85% with Persons 12-34 and 111% among Females 12-34 – since 1/9/17, 1/2/17, 1/16/17 and 1/2/17, respectively. Airing at the 8pm hour, “Beyond” ranked as the No. 1 scripted series on cable TV among Women 18-34.

The show has made headlines before on the network, so a third-season should be right around the corner. “Beyond” was the the first series to premiere on Freeform’s digital-platform all at once, giving viewers the choice to binge through the first season at their own pace. Last year Freeform released all ten episodes of the first season following the televised premiere, and it was so popular that Freeform did the same thing with Bella Thorne’s “Famous in Love”. Last year, Freeform generated its best week across digital platforms in well over 4 years, powered by the debut of “Beyond” and the second season premiere of “Shadowhunters” – since 8/27/12.

The series has also been a hit on Social Media, which isn’t surprising since Freeform already mastered the art of Social Media Buzz with the hit series “Pretty Little Liars”. With last year’s premiere, “Beyond” trended during its entire premiere and for 30 minutes following, and achieved the highest favorability rating (96%) of the network’s recent original series at the time.

If you haven’t given the show a try yet, “Beyond” is a one-hour drama about a young man who wakes up from a coma after 12 years and discovers new supernatural abilities that propel him into the middle of a dangerous conspiracy.
