Jessica Jones is back with an all-new trailer for the show’s second season, which is set to debut later this spring. Netflix debuted the Jessica Jones: Season 2 trailer earlier today, previewing the next chapter in the popular Marvel series.
The last time we checked in with Jessica Jones was back in December, at the time Netflix confirmed the release date for the show’s follow-up season, setting the premiere date for March 8, 2018. The first season was an instant hit with fans, as “Jessica Jones” launched right after the also popular “Marvel’s Daredevil” series. Since the debut of those two series, Marvel has premiered “Luke Cage,” “Iron Fist,” “Daredevil: Season 2” and “The Defenders”.
The first season followed Krysten Ritter and Rachael Taylor as they hunted down a very evil David Tennant. Also featured in the first season were Eka Darville, Carrie-Anne Moss, Mike Colter, Rebecca De Mornay, and Rosario Dawson. We should mention that the first season won a Peabody award, and is one of the most popular Marvel series to launch on television. Season 2 will have 13 episodes when it launches in March, and as usual, all of the episodes will be available at the same time for your binging pleasure. If you haven’t seen the new trailer that was released today, you can watch that video below, thanks to a quick upload to social-media.
Season 2 will of course include Krysten Ritter, and she will be joined by Ritter is joined by Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth), Eka Darville (Malcolm Ducasse). New cast members currently include Janet McTeer and J.R. Ramirez.
The video was released just a few hours after Marvel’s “Deadpool 2,” from 20th Century Fox, hit the internet. The new video focuses more on Cable than Deadpool, but is still filled with the same humor and NSFW attitude that fans have come to expect from Deadpool.
