The CW has confirmed the network’s mid-season premiere dates, which means that hit series like “The Originals,” “Dynasty,” and “iZombie” are coming back in just a few weeks. There’s also a new series to watch for this year, “Life Sentence” starring Lucy Hale, which is set to begin in March. You will have to wait a little longer to see the return of “The Originals,” heading into their final season, as well as the return of “The 100”.
The CW made the official premiere-schedule announcement this week, which as we stated included the series premiere of the new comedy “Life Sentence”. Lucy Hale will lead the new series when it debuts on the CW, and the show will launch on the network on March 7 at 9pm following an all new episode of “Riverdale” at 8pm. As one of the biggest draws on the network, “Riverdale” is sure to help kickoff “Life Sentence” as a solid lead-in, and the show “Dynasty” will move to Friday nights at 8pm beginning in March. Fans of Lucy Hale can see her in the upcoming film “Truth or Dare“.
The popular romantic-comedy-drama “iZombie” will return for its fourth season on Monday, February 26 at 9pm, the show will have “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” as a lead-in at 8pm.
Fans of “The Originals” will have a bittersweet season this year, yes the show is returning, but this will be the final season for the series. If you need to set a reminder, “The Originals” will premiere for their final season on Friday, April 20 at 9pm. Not to be forgotten, the season finale of “Jane the Virgin” will air on Friday, April 13 at 9pm.
CW fans should be excited to see that the popular sci-fi drama “THE 100” is coming back soon, the show is returning for its fifth season on Tuesday, April 24 at 9pm. “The 100” will follow “The Flash” at 8pm, and the season finale of “Black Lightning” will air Tuesday, April 17 at 9pm.
