Momentum Pictures released a trailer for “Half Magic,” a comedy coming to select theaters in February. The film was written and directed by Heather Graham and tells the story of three women fighting sexism, bad relationships, and low self-esteem together.

You will have to check local listings to see if the film is coming to your city on February 23, but if not, the comedy is also releasing on-demand and on digital HD that same day. Starring alongside Heather Graham are Angela Kinsey and Stephanie Beatriz. The film also features Jason Lewis, Thomas Lennon, and Chris D’Elia. Comedy fans will certainly recognize Graham’s co-stars, Stephanie Beatriz plays the role of Rosa on FOX’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” and Angela Kinsey played the role of Angela on NBC’s “The Office”.

The release date will put the film against Paramount’s “Annihilation,” starring Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, and Jennifer Jason Leigh. That film was written and directed by Alex Garland. The Warner Bros. Pictures’ project “Game Night,” starring Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman, and Jesse Plemons, is also expected to hit theaters that same weekend. “Half Magic” should be a perfect release if you find yourself wanting to stay in that weekend, or if you need a comedy to help get you through those long winter nights in February. Fans of the genre can watch the first-look trailer below, released by the studio this week.

After films like “Boogie Nights,” “Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me,” and “From Hell,” Graham has found endless success on the small-screen. Over the past few years the actor has appeared on comedies like “Portlandia,” “Angie Tribeca,” “Scrubs,” and “Emily’s Reasons Why Not,” alongside dramas like “Californication,” and “Flowers in the Attic”. Graham has also voiced characters in video-games like “Call of Duty: Black Ops III” and “EverQuest II”.

If you like what you see in the trailer, you can set a reminder to catch “Half Magic” when it hits theaters in late February.
