Netflix has started teasing the fourth season of Netflix, adding two popular actors to the show’s cast. The video-streaming service announced today that Michael Peña (Crash, American Hustle) and Diego Luna (Rogue One, Y Tu Mamá También) will both star in season 4 of Narcos, adding to what is already a brilliant cast. Production on the series recently began in Mexico City, Mexico, the country where the next season will take place. The casting announcement and location were confirmed today on the Narcos social accounts.
You will still have a few months before you can see the two actors on the series, Narcos season 4 is scheduled to premiere in 2018. Narcos is produced by Gaumont Television for Netflix. Executive producers for the series are José Padilha, Eric Newman, Doug Miro and Carlo Bernard. Peña earned notable recognition for his performance in Paul Haggis’ provocative Oscar-winning film “Crash,” alongside Don Cheadle, Matt Dillon and Terrence Howard. He garnered multiple Best Ensemble nominations for his performance as Daniel the locksmith, winning awards from the Screen Actors Guild and the Broadcast Film Critics Association for the cast’s performance.
