The first teaser-trailer for “Ocean’s 8” is out, the full-length trailer is expected to release tomorrow. The film, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures, is set to release in theaters in the summer of 2018. The heist comedy-drama will be the latest installment in the popular “Ocean’s” franchise, this time starring an all-female cast.

The studios have just started to tease the film, releasing the first poster earlier this month on social-media, and releasing a still from the project back in January. The picture offered a first look at Sandra B and her crew of soon-to-be robbers as they ride the New York City subway. “Ocean’s 8” was directed by Gary Ross, and will star a brand new crew including Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway and Mindy Kaling. They will be joined by Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter. The full details of the plot are still being kept a secret, but production on the film started way back in November 2016. Ross is directing from a screenplay he wrote with Olivia Milch (“Dude”), with Steven Soderbergh and Jon Kilik producing, Michael Tadross, Susan Ekins, Sandra Bullock, Diana Alvarez and Bruce Berman executive producing, and Milch co- producing. Filming took place in and around New York City.

Collaborating with Ross behind the scenes are director of photography Eigil Bryld (“In Bruges,” “Not Fade Away”), production designer Alex DiGerlando (“Beasts of the Southern Wild,” HBO’s “True Detective”), editor Juliette Welfling (“Free State of Jones,” “The Hunger Games”), costume designer Sarah Edwards (“Tower Heist,” Showtime’s “Billions”), and composer Nicholas Britell (“The Big Short,” “Free State of Jones”).

The film is set for release in Summer 2018 and will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, and in select territories by Village Roadshow Pictures. The studio will release “Ocean’s 8” in theaters on June 8, 2018.
