‘Deadpool 2’ teaser trailer is all fun and games
Oh Deadpool you scamp
There’s a new “Deadpool 2” teaser on the web, and social-media is loving it. The summer blockbuster hasn’t released an official trailer yet but if all you want is Deadpool mayhem and hi-jinks, then this video should be fine. You do get a few moments from the actual movie towards the end of the video, but you will get to enjoy Deadpool’s tomfoolery before the action.
The upcoming Marvel/FOX release was directed by David Leitch, and will feature Morena Baccarin, Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin, Brianna Hildebrand, T.J. Miller, Stefan Kapicic, and Leslie Uggams. FOX is even having a laugh with the video description on the movie’s official site and Youtube channel stating:
“After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.”
The original “Deadpool” film opened in February 2016 but now that the franchise is a certified money-maker, FOX has moved the sequel to become an official summer blockbuster. “Deadpool” opened at number-one when it was released in 2016 after bringing in an amazing $132M during its domestic debut. The film went on to make over $363M domestically in theaters, and over $783M worldwide. Releasing in the summer means more competition, and “Deadpool 2” will have to battle the new “Ocean’s 8” crime-comedy in its follow-up week. Other big-hitters expected to release that month are “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” and “Disney’s The Increadibles 2”.
“Deadpool” is set to hit theaters on June 1, 2018
