‘Stranger Things 2’ trailer offers one last tease before the premiere
One last preview of Stranger Things 2
Netflix’s “Stranger Things 2” is almost here, and the popular video-streaming service has delivered a final trailer to get fans excited for the big premiere at the end of the month. “Stranger Things” was a popular costume last year, filled with Eggos and the Upside Down world, and the new season seems just as wonderful as the first. The series will pick-up in 1984, while the the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. In the new season, the lovable Will Byers may have been rescued from the Upside Down, but the young boy knows that a bigger entity still threatens his town.
The new season will add two new faces, Dacre Montgomery and Sadie Sink. Montgomery will be taking the role of Billy in the new season, the character is Max’s confident and older step-brother. Netflix described the character stating, “He steals girlfriends away from their boyfriends, is great at drinking games, and drives a black Camaro. But lurking under his apparent charisma, is a violent and unpredictable nature.” Sadie Sink will be playing the role of Max, the character was described as “a tough and confident girl whose appearance, behavior and pursuits seem more typical of boys than of girls in this era”. She has a complicated history and is generally suspicious of those around her. Also, the following cast members from season-one have been flipped from recurring to series regulars, they include Joe Keery and Noah Schnapp. You can watch the final trailer for the new season below.
While fans will be probably be excited to binge-through the new season after watching the trailer, they still have a bit of a wait ahead of them. “Stranger Things 2” is set to hit Netflix on October 27th, just before Halloween, but perfect for anyone not trick-or-treating.
