Hulu surprised Marvel fans with a quick teaser-trailer for “Marvel’s Runaways,” which is coming to the popular video-streaming network. The new series is currently setting up shop at New York Comic-Con this weekend, so expect a few announcements and teasers from the event.

After discovering their parents are super-villains in disguise, a group of teenagers band together to run away from their homes in order to atone for their parents’ actions and to discover the secrets of their origins. The new Marvel series stars Rhenzy Feliz as Alex Wilder, Ariela Barer as Gert Yorkes, Lyrica Okano as Nico Minoru, Gregg Sulkin as Chase Stein, Virginia Gardner as Karolina Dean, and Allegra Acosta as Molly Hernandez.

Stephanie Savage, Jeph Loeb, and Josh Schwartz are the Executive Producers on the series, which is coming exclusively to Hulu.

The new series is one of several new Marvel TV series launching between now and 2018. “Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger” and “Marvel’s New Warriors” series are launching on the Freeform network, while “Marvel’s Inhumans” is currently airing on ABC. Another highly-anticipated series coming this year is “Marvel’s The Gifted,” which is set to air on FOX and set within the X-MEN storylines. That series stars Stephen Moyer (“Shots Fired,” “True Blood”), Amy Acker (“Person of Interest”), Natalie Alyn Lind (Gotham) and Percy Hynes White (“Night at the Museum 3”) as the Strucker family. Also starring in the series are Sean Teale (“Reign”) as Eclipse; Jamie Chung (Gotham) as Blink; Emma Dumont (“Aquarius”) as Polaris; Blair Redford (“Satisfaction”) as Thunderbird; and Coby Bell (“Burn Notice”) as Sentinel Services Agent Jace Turner. Marvel fans can watch the short teaser-trailer below, thanks to an upload from Hulu earlier this evening.

These shows will join the ranks of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Marvel’s Inhumans,” and the previous hit “Marvel’s Agent Carter”. There are also a ton of animated Marvel shows on networks like Disney XD, giving Marvel fans of all ages something to watch within the Marvel Universe.
