‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 goes Digital this Month
Head back to Westeros
If you don’t have HBO, and you’ve been really good about not pirating any of the Season 7 episodes of “Game of Thrones,” the season will be available for you digitally next week. HBO confirmed that “Game of Thrones: The Complete Seventh Season” will be hit Digital Download stores on September 25th.
You will be able to find the Seventh Season on all of the popular video-streaming sites, the series will be available on retailers such as Amazon Video, iTunes, and Google Play before the month is out.
This past season was a record-breaker for HBO, and now fans can watch the entire seventh season without the seven-day waiting period that the rest of us had to sit through. The Digital Download release for Game of Thrones: The Complete Seventh Season will also include an exclusive new “Creating the North and Beyond” featurette that takes fans behind the scenes of Jon Snow’s epic trek north of The Wall and his latest battle with the Night King’s army.
In Season 7, Daenerys Targaryen has finally set sail for Westeros with her armies, dragons and new Hand of the Queen, Tyrion Lannister. Jon Snow has been named King in the North after defeating Ramsay Bolton in the Battle of the Bastards and returning Winterfell to House Stark. In King’s Landing, Cersei Lannister has seized the Iron Throne by incinerating the High Sparrow, his followers and her rivals in the Sept of Baelor. But as old alliances fracture and new ones emerge, an army of dead men marches on the Wall, threatening to end the game of thrones forever.
Fans and critics loved the latest season of the popular series, which still has one more season to go before everything is said and done in Westeros. We won’t spoil any of the latest details for you, just in-case this will be your first time through the season, but it was a great one from start to finish.
