The latest “Call of Duty: WWII” trailer was released today, this time focusing on the story that will be driving the game’s single-player mode. Players will jump into the story of Private Ronald “Red” Daniels, a young recruit in the U.S. First Infantry Division who experiences combat for the first time on D-Day. The Private was just one man learning about battle during one of the largest amphibious assaults in recorded history.

After surviving the beaches of Normandy, Red and his squad will have to fight their way across Europe, engaging the enemy in iconic battle locations such as the Hürtgen Forest and the Battle of the Bulge, as they make their way into Germany. Fans of the franchise can watch the new trailer below, the game itself is set to release in November.

The game is sure to be a hit with fans, who have been asking for a historical-based ‘Call of Duty’ installment after the last few games in the franchise have all featured future-tech and settings. The game will have a lot of competition though, as games like Activision’s “Destiny 2” are launching on the PC next month. Over the next few months “Call of Duty: WW2” will have to battle EA’s “Star Wars: Battlefront 2,” and “Middle‑earth Shadow of War”. All of these games will also have to compete with the current hits like PUBG, Overwatch and CSGO, which still have an incredible playerbase.

As with any Call of Duty game, pre-ordering will get you a ton of extras, which ones depend on the edition that you buy. You can also pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition ($99 on Amazon) which includes the game, an Expansion Pass, and the pre-order bonuses. The game itself will release on November 3 2017.
