Amazon cuts $25 off Fire Tablets for Prime Members

It's a Fire, tablet, sale

Amazon Fire HDamazon

If you have Amazon Prime, now is one of the best times ever to pick-up an Amazon Fire tablet. The already low-priced tablets are being marked down even further this week, thanks to a special promotion from the online retailer. These are the latest models and all the color options are included, and penny-savers can even shop refurbished models to save even more money.

The prices range from $15 to $25 off the already low-price of the Kindle Fire line, with bundles offering savings up to $50. At the top of the sale is the new Fire HD 8 Tablet with Alexa, which is $25 off at $54. The price is listed for $79, but at checkout you will get the $25 discount if you have a Prime membership active. The 8″ tablet offers up to 12 hours of battery life and an 8″ HD display, all powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. The OS runs on 1.5 GB of RAM, and the HD 8 comes with Dolby Audio. The options include 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, but a microSD slot will allow up to 256 GB of expandable storage. The Alexa compatibility will allow you to ask questions, play music, check your calendar, get the news, weather, and other Alexa commands. One of the best features of Kindle Fire tablets is the ability to download videos anywhere with a Prime membership, Netflix plan, or Showtime subscription, making them perfect tablets to watch content when you might have a bad (or no) internet connection later.

If you were hoping for something a little cheaper, you can grab the Fire 7 Tablet with Alexa for just $35. Again, the price says $49 until you get to checkout. This model offers a 7″ display, 8 GB of storage and has the ‘special offers’ marketing from Amazon. The system runs on a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, and boasts up to 8 hours of battery life, with the same extras as the 8″ model.

Another terrific option, if you are shopping for little ones, is the Buy 2 Fire 7 Kids Edition Tablets promotion, which will save you $50 off the MSRP. This includes all of the new colors, and the worry free guarantees from Amazon. If you only need 1, you can upgrade to the all-new Fire HD 8 Kids Edition Tablet, now on sale of $129.

If you want to save even more money, you can shop the list of refurbished Kindle 7″ models, all marked even lower than the aforementioned promotion. You have to shop fast though, as the promotion is for a limited time and only while supplies last.
