Netflix’s popular comedy “Lady Dynamite” will return for a second-season on November 10, 2017, the service confirmed the long-awaited release-date when a new trailer for the sophomore season was released on YouTube. The sometimes bizarre series is based on what Maria Bamford has accepted to be “her life,” and has been a hit with both subscribers and critics.
The show was huge hit when it first premiered on the video-streaming service back in the Spring of 2016, this time around Netflix is giving the series a prime-time November release date. While most fans know Bamford from her stand-up, TV spots, and roles in various films, she will always be the Lumpy Space Queen and/or Slime Princess from “Adventure Time” to me. Netflix even released a new trailer for the second season to get fans excited for the show’s big return, you can watch that trailer below. The series also features Fred Melamed, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Mary Kay Place, and Ana Gasteyer.
Still to come on Netflix this month is the new season of “BoJack Horseman,” which will become available on September 8, 2017. This will be the fourth-season of “BoJoack”. Netflix subscribers will also get the third-season of “Outlander,” a new season of “The Expanse” to watch, the newly announced Jaden Smith anime “Neo Yokio” and the return of the Magic School Bus for the little ones. The big films to look out for include “First They Killed My Father,” directed by Angelina Jolie, the Lady GaGa doc “Gaga: Five Foot Two,” “The Bad Batch,” and “Heroin(e)”.
