MTV Music Video Awards: The Winners from the event

The MTV Music Video Awards have come and gone, and now a new set of Moon People awards now have fabulous homes to live in. One of the biggest winners of the night was Kendrick Lamar, the artist’s “HUMBLE” video came out on top with six Moon People, including “Video of the Year”. The 2017 “MTV VMAs” aired live tonight from the “Fabulous” forum in Inglewood, California, and was hosted by Katy Perry. Ed Sheeran took home the Artist of the year award, and Fifth Harmony certainly cleaned-up at this year’s event.

The show is really a hit because of its over-the-top live performances, and this year fans got to watch Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj perform their latest hit “Swish Swish” and P!nk do a medly of hits including “Get The Party Started,” “Raise Your Glass,” “So What,” and “Just”. Other notable acts that took the main stage were Kendrick Lamar performing “DNA” + “HUMBLE.”, Rod Stewart and DNCE with a live “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy” act, Ed Sheeran and Lil Uzi Vert performing “Shape Of You” and “XO Tour Lilf3”, and Miley Cyrus singing “Younger Now”.

Fans also got to watch Logic and Khalid performing “1-800-273-8255,” Demi Lovato singing “Sorry Not Sorry,” Thirty Seconds to Mars singing “Walk On Water,” Fifth Harmony and Gucci Mane dancing along to “Angel” + “Down,” Shawn Medes singing “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” Lorde singing “Homemade Dynamite,” Kyle performing “iSpy,” Alessia Cara singing “Scares To Your Beautiful,” and Julia Michaels singing “Issues”. The MTV Music Video Awards also featured the premiere of Taylor Swift’s new video for “Look What You Made Me Do,” which features a lot of previous versions of Taylor from the past.
