SDCC 2017: ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ has a new trailer
Rally the spies with a new look at Kingsman 2
20th Century FOX is bringing “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” to San Diego Comic Con this week, and the studio released a new trailer to get their fans excited about the sequel. “Kingsman 2” will have a new challenge for everyone’s favorite heroes, who are trying to save the world after their headquarters is destroyed. As the world is being held hostage, the journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman. These two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world once again.
The Kingsman SDCC panel is happening today in Hall H. Fans will see Taron Egerton, Colin Firth, Halle Berry, Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges and Pedro Pascal at the panel, they will be joined by screenwriter Jane Goldman and Kingsman co-creator and Dave Gibbons. You can catch that panel at 11am local time. Not attending the panel, but featured in the film, are Julianne Moore, Mark Stron, and Sir Elton John. You can watch the RED-Band trailer below.
“Kingsman: The Golden Circle” will hit theaters on September 22, 2017, the film was directed by Matthew Vaughn and co-written with Jane Goldman. The films are based the comic book “The Secret Service” by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons.
“Kingsman: The Secret Service” introduced the world to Kingsman – an independent, international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion, whose ultimate goal is to keep the world safe.
The original film was a gigantic hit for the studio, pulling-in over $128M domestically before going on to make $414M worldwide. Despite its impressive $36M opening, the film debuted at number-two on the domestic box-office charts. Universal Pictures’ “Fifty Shades Darker” took number-one that weekend with an $85M opening gross in theaters.
