E3 2017: WB Offers up a ‘Middle-earth: Shadow of War’ Story Trailer
Only a few more months of waiting
With E3 just around the corner, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is offering Middle-Earth fans a story trailer for “Middle-earth: Shadow of War”. The new trailer showcases Talion and Celebrimbor as they use the power of the New Ring to forge an army and confront the deadliest of enemies, including Sauron and his Nazgul, in a monumental battle for Middle-earth.
The video that was released today features a host of new allies, villains and creatures that The Bright Lord will encounter throughout this completely original narrative, which is brought to life through the expanded Nemesis System.
Set between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, Middle-earth: Shadow of War is an open-world action RPG that continues the original narrative of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. Players will be engrossed in a richer, more personal and expansive world full of epic heroes and villains, iconic locations, original enemy types, more personalities and a new cast of characters with untold stories. The first game in the series was a runaway hit for Warner Bros. Entertainment when it was released back in 2014. The publisher released a wide-array of DLC for the title to keep fans interested in the open-world combat and progressing story, and fans should be excited to expand upon the storylines that are carrying over from the first title. More information on the game is expected to be announced at E3 this year, and the title is one of the larger releases expected to hit store shelves this fall.
Middle-earth: Shadow of War ($59 on Amazon) will be available for Xbox One, Project Scorpio, Windows 10 PC (Windows Store and Steam), PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro beginning October 10, 2017.
