The film will reunite Gina Gershon and Nicolas Cage, the two stars will be joined on-screen by Faye Dunaway, Nicky Whelan, and Natalie Eva Marie. Fans should remember that Cage and Gershon were both featured in the popular film “Face/Off” together, which was released back in 1997. That thriller was directed by John Woo and starred John Travolta, Nicolas Cage, and Joan Allen.

As for “Inconceivable,” the erotic-thriller was directed by Jonathan Baker, working from a script written by Chloe King. The film was produced by Randall Emmett, George Furla, Jonathan Baker, Mark Stewart, and Hilary Shor. Lionsgate will release “Inconceivable” in theaters and on-demand on June 30, 2017. Fans of Cage can watch the trailer below.

In the film a mysterious young woman, Katie (Nicky Whelan), and her daughter move to a new town to escape her past and quickly befriends Angela Morgan (Gina Gershon), a mother of one who longs for a bigger family. As their lives become intricately entwined, Angela and her husband, Brian, (Nicolas Cage), invite Katie to live in their guest-house to serve as their nanny. Over time, the blossoming friendship between the two women spirals into a dangerous obsession as Katie becomes overly attached to the Morgans’ daughter. The studio teases the film stating, “Enduring lies and manipulations, Angela and Brian realize that sweet Katie is actually trying to destroy their family from within.”

Cage has several projects in the works, including the action-film “#211” from writer/director York Alec Shackleton. That film will also star Nicolas Cage, along with Sophie Skelton, and Dwayne Cameron. If you love Cage-thrillers, also keep “Looking Glass” on your radar. That project was directed by Tim Hunter, and features Nicolas Cage, with Robin Tunney, and Marc Blucas. If sci-fi action is more of your fancy, Cage won’t leave you wanting, the actor will appear in “The Humanity Bureau” with Hugh Dillon, and Sarah Lind.
