FOX has set a home box-office release date for the thriller “A Cure for Wellness,” the film will hit Blu-ray and DVD next week. The thriller had a limited-showing in theaters when it premiered in February, but did manage to gross over $4.3M domestically over its weekend debut. The film opened against “The Great Wall,” the comedy “Fist Fight,” and the limited-release of “Everybody Loves Somebody”. “A Cure for Wellness” went on to gross $8M domestically and $26M worldwide, it will release on Blu-Ray and DVD June 6, 2017.

The film came from the director of “The Ring” and is psychological thriller about an ambitious young executive sent to retrieve his company’s CEO from a remote and mysterious “wellness center.” When he begins to unravel the retreat’s terrifying secrets, his sanity is tested, as he finds himself diagnosed with the same curious illness that keeps all the guests there longing for the cure.

The film stars Dane DeHaan (Chronicle), Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter films) and Mia Goth (Everest). The Blu-ray and DVD includes a deleted sequence, a behind-the-scenes look at the scoring of the film and individual meditations from the wellness center. The film is currently available on Digital HD and fans can grab the Blu-Ray and DVD version this June ($19 at Amazon).

Mia Goth has three projects coming out over the next year, including “Marrowbone” from writer and director Sergio G. Sánchez. Goth will also be featured in “Suspiria,” with Chloë Grace Moretz, Dakota Johnson, and Tilda Swinton, as well as “High Life” alongside Robert Pattinson and Patricia Arquette. All three of those films are in post-production, and will be released over the next year.

Dane DeHaan’s next major-release is the sci-fi epic “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets,” which was directed by Luc Besson. DeHaan will star in that film alongside Cara Delevingne and Clive Owen. The film is set to hit theaters on July 21, 2017.
