Channing Tatum and Adam Driver Lead an All-Star Cast in first ‘Logan Lucky’ Trailer

It's heist time

Bleecker Street released the first trailer for “Logan Lucky,” an upcoming heist-comedy starring Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, Seth MacFarlane, Riley Keough, Katie Holmes, Katherine Waterson, Dwight Yoakam, Sebastian Stan, Brian Gleeson and Jack Quaid. The film also features Hilary Swank, and introduces audiences to Daniel Craig as Joe Bang. The film is currently scheduled to hit theaters this August, but you can get an early look at the film thanks to the trailer below.

Trying to reverse a family curse, brothers Jimmy (Channing Tatum) and Clyde Logan (Adam Driver) set out to execute an elaborate robbery during the legendary Coca-Cola 600 race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The story was written by Rebecca Blunt, and the film was directed by Steven Soderbergh.

Adam Driver fans can see him reprise his role of Kylo Ren in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” this December. The new installment to the Star Wars franchise was written and directed by Rian Johnson, and will be hoping to top “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” worldwide gross of $2.06B. Joining Driver in the film will be Daisy Ridley, Tom Hardy, Billie Lourd, Mark Hamill, Gwendoline Christie, Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern, John Boyega, and the late Carrie Fisher.

Channing Tatum will also be starring in “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” this year, alongside Taron Egerton, Colin Firth and Mark Strong. Matthew Vaughn directed the upcoming Kingsman sequel, which will also feature Sophie Cookson, Julianne Moore, Pedro Pascal, Colin Firth, Halle Berry, Poppy Delevingne, and Jeff Bridges. The original Kingsman film grossed $128M domestically before bringing in $414M worldwide. There is still no concrete dates and cast for Tatum’s “Gambit,” film, which has had trouble coming together since it was officially announced. Fans will just have to wait a little longer to see if Tatum ever gets a chance to bring the superhero to the big-screen.

“Logan Lucky” will release in theaters on August 18, 2017.
