Netflix released an early-morning trailer for “Marvel’s The Defenders,” which is set to launch on the popular video-streaming service this summer. The Marvel series will be culmination of the four stories that Marvel has put forward so far, starring all four heroes that Marvel and Netflix has followed over the years. The trailer doesn’t offer too many hints at what’s in-store for these heroes, but it’s also fun when superheroes team up across our fair city.

“Marvel’s The Defenders” follows Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones). Netflix teases the ragtag crew calling them a, A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City”. The service went on to say, “This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together”. Marvel fans can watch the short teaser-trailer below, it certainly won’t be the final trailer before the show launches in August.

While “Daredevil,” “Jessica Jones” and “Luke Cage” were a hit with fans, “Iron Fist” was the softest launch of the bunch. Maybe some of the charisma from the other heroes will rub-off on our hero when he joins his Marvel friends later this year. At lease fans won’t have to wait too long to see the four-fighters join forces, the Netflix original series will launch globally on August 18, 2017. As of right now Marvel is keeping a lid on the storyline that our four heroes will be following, but hints and teasers are sure to help fans speculate on what will happen in the first season. Marvel is also putting forward a “Punisher” series at some point, following the terrific reception that Jon Bernthal received for his performance as the iconic character in the “Daredevil” storyline.
