Blizzard has a brand-new event lined up for fans of the FPS “Overwatch,” and it’s all about uniforms and bots. After a short burst of leaked images, and a few leaked teaser-trailers, Blizzard officially announced the details for the “Uprising” event today, and released the official trailer for fans to enjoy.

The company announced with the video, “For a limited time, we’re rewinding the future and giving you the chance to relive history in our latest in-game event: Overwatch Uprising!” The developers added, “Join Tracer on her very first mission in a new cooperative brawl and unlock pieces of the past with over 100 themed Loot Box items—including skins, highlight intros, emotes, sprays, and more.”

The event will run from April 11 through May 1, and centers around the Omnics and an Overwatch team consisting of Tracer, Mercy, Reinhardt, and Torbjörn. The main-events in the trailer all take place much earlier than the game’s original timeline, when the Omnics first rose up in rebellion against our heroes. The characters all have blue “Agents of Overwatch” outfits, which you will be able to unlock through loot-boxes during the event. You won’t be able to grab the outfits when the event is over, and you can’t use previously attained loot-boxes to grab the goodies, so you’ll just have to grind it out to get them all. You can buy loot boxes, but you should at least wait until the last day if you do, or you might end up getting them anyway, and wasting your money. There seems to be new outfits for just about everyone on the roster, so fans of almost every hero should be able to grab a new skin for their top-pick. Fans of the title can watch the official trailer below for a look at the new event.

In the past Overwatch has held events for the Olympics, Halloween, Christmas and Chinese New Year. The events are usually quite popular with the Overwatch community, and add a bit of excitement for players that have been falling by the wayside while playing other titles. The event will go live after the upcoming update, and will give players something to shoot for while they grind it out in competition or arcade mode.
