If you currently use the Sling TV service, you will have the option to add Showtime for $10 a month. Starting today, Sling TV marks the first time an over-the-top (OTT) service has offered content from the four leading premium networks. Showtime features eight different channels and is available today for $10 per month to both new and existing Sling TV customers.

“We know our price and the ability to personalize your channel lineup are why consumers prefer Sling TV, so we’ll continue to offer more customizable options like this,” said Glenn Eisen, chief marketing officer of Sling TV. “Showtime offers Sling TV customers additional high-quality live and on-demand content, including hit series like ‘Homeland’ and ‘Billions.’”

Showtime offers commercial-free access to award-winning Showtime original series, including “Homeland,” “Billions,” “Ray Donovan” and the highly-anticipated new limited event series of “Twin Peaks.”

That “Twin Peaks” premiere might be the perfect time to pick-up the service, and will most likely add quite a few subscribers when the special-event launches later this year. Through the deal subscribers can watch eight live TV channels or instantly choose from nearly 2,000 on-demand titles, with new titles added weekly.

Additional original series, exclusive sporting events, documentaries, comedy specials and more from the following Showtime Networks will be included in the add-on: Showtime, Showtime 2, Showtime Showcase, Showtime Extreme, Showtime Beyond, Showtime Next, Showtime West and Showtime Women.

You can access the Sling service a number of ways, and all of the devices are rather affordable if you are looking to cut-cable out of your life. You can go the Amazon Fire TV Stick route for $39, or upgrade to the Amazon Fire TV for $89. Roku offers streaming platforms starting at $29, or watch on your PC, mobile device, PS4, Xbox One, Chromecast, Mac or Android device.

Current Sling subscribers can add Showtime starting today.
