Just a few hours after CBS confirmed that “Bull” would be returning for a second season, the network announced that Eliza Dushku is joining the cast of the series. Eliza Dushku will join the cast of “Bull” beginning Tuesday, May 9, 2017, so fans of the popular actor can set a reminder to catch her first episode. According to the announcement, Dushku will play J.P. Nunnelly, the savvy head of the best criminal defense firm in New York. Dushku’s character is is hired by Dr. Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly) when a member of his Trial Analysis Corporation team faces prison time.

Dushku is well known to audiences for her role as Faith in the television series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” though she has quite a few films under her belt as well. Most recently on television, she appeared in the final season of the series “Banshee.” Additionally, she starred in “The Saint,” the 2016 television movie adaptation of the 1960s series of the same name, based on the book series by Leslie Charteris. Her additional television credits include the series “Tru Calling,” for which she earned a 2004 Saturn Award nomination, and “Dollhouse” as seen above. Dushku’s feature film credits include “Bring It On,” “True Lies,” “This Boy’s Life,” “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,” “Wrong Turn,” “Soul Survivors” and “That Night.” Though “Bring it On” is definitely on the top of that list in my opinion.

As for “Bull,” the series stars Michael Weatherly, Freddy Rodriguez, Geneva Carr, Jaime Lee Kirchner, Annabelle Attanasio and Christopher Jackson. As recently announced, BULL has been renewed for the 2017-2018 season on the CBS Television Network. The show was one of 18 series that CBS is bringing back for another season. Of the new shows that launched this year, “Bull,” “Kevin Can Wait,” “MacGyver,” “Man with a Plan” and “Superior Donuts” are the ones that got early renewals. You can find all 18 of the series that will be returning to CBS on our site.
