Aquaman prepares in ‘Justice League’ teaser

Warner Bros. Pictures released a new teaser-trailer for “Justice League” this week, offering a quick look at the popular superhero Aquaman. The aquatic superhero is getting his own film next year, but first he will joining his super-friends in “Justice League”. The film is part of the “Justice League” dynamic that DC and Warner Bros. have been building towards over the last few films, and you can see Aquaman and Batman in a very short clip from the film. The “Justice League” unites Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Cyborg, The Flash, and Aquaman together to save the world.

Zack Snyder returns to the DC Universe to direct “Justice League,” which based on a screenplay written by Chris Terrio. All of your favorite DC stars will be back for the film including Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Ben Affleck, and Henry Cavill. Joining them in the installment are Connie Nielsen, Ezra Miller, Amber Heard, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons and Willem Dafoe.

“Aquaman” won’t hit theaters until 2018, and will be directed by James Wan. The screenplay for that installment was written by Will Beall, and the story was written by Geoff Johns. Jason Momoa of “Game of Thrones” fame stars as Aquaman in that film as well, and he is joined by Nicole Kidman, Amber Heard and Willem Dafoe. Fans can watch the new teaser-trailer below, uploaded to the studio’s YouTube Channel.

Warner Bros. will release “Wonder Woman” this June, from director Patty Jenkins. The story was written by Zack Snyder, and the screenplay was written by Allan Heinberg. Gal Gadot is returning as Wonder Woman in the installment, and she will be joined by Robin Wright and Chris Pine. Zack Snyder directed “Batman v Superman” back in 2016, the film featured Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot and Jesse Eisenberg. Snyder’s “Batman v Superman” wasn’t universally loved by fans and critics, but did gross over $330M domestically. The film went on to make $873M in theaters before taking over the home box-office charts.

“Justice League” will release in theaters in November.
